In partnership with the herbal tea maker Agro Forest Reunion and the association for the scientific monitoring of socio-technical production routes, Ancestral terroirs of Bourbon, APPER invites you to learn to recognize the main plants of the Cap la Houssaye savannah in the context of fun and sensory exchanges. Develop your knowledge of their medicinal uses, aromatics, mystical or as animal fodder. Taste these aromatic plants, whose secrets are passed down from generation to generation in containers that respect sustainable development, accompanied by honey of local species in a musical atmosphere with two musicians from the Ecole des Musiques Actuelles de La Réunion.

Offered as part of the exhibition "Savane: Nout "leeward freedom", this workshop includes a photographic stroll through the landscapes of the Savannah Saint-Pauloise and a preparation session for the exhibition of the best images of each participant. Accompanied(e) in the field by a professional photographer, you can learn all the tips you need to take your first steps or improve your practice, in an exceptional setting. The group will aim to produce a series of images testifying to the natural and historical heritage of the savannah, by expressing artistic or documentary sensitivity. Muni(e) a digital camera, or a recent smartphone, discover simple techniques for taking great outdoor shots. Composition of an image, subject lighting, choice of objective, use of a tripod and a polarizing filter, macro photography, panoramic photo. The second session, at the Town Hall annexed to the Grande Fontaine, will be devoted to selecting the best images and preparing them for printing. Indoors and with a video projector, participants will be able to discover some basic techniques in post-production: cropping, brightness improvement, contrasts, export in the correct format.

Required material : Recent digital camera or smartphone.
Recommended : tripod, polarizing filter, personal computer for the 2nd session
Mandatory : Mask Walking Shoe, trousers, hat, bottle of water
